Van Gogh Alive Exhibition.

November 2021 I was fortunate to see the Van Gogh Alive Exhibition here in Brisbane. I wasn’t  able to sit and watch the entire 40 minute screen projection of his life….numerous people there and no spare seats. I wandered around aimlessly and took  lots of photos, and treated myself to a souvenir book. I will show some of the photos I took but without an explanation  …enjoy.

A great fire burns within me, but no one stops to warm themselves at it, and passers-by only see a wisp of smoke. I wish they would only take me as I am.

  4. Hi Ally, what a great opportunity. It’s a pity there were no seats for the video but you can always read up on his life yourself. The artwork is what counts as that was his essence. I love the sunflowers. When you look at his pictures of faces you can see how talented he was. Amazing.

  8. Hello, Ally! Have heard of Van Gogh, and know his (self portrait with?) ‘the ear’ painting. But found myself captivated by this whole presentation. …Particularly like the ‘shape’ of his bed room! So many angles on the wall facing us! …Happy to see You in the sun flower room! The shot before that, showing not just sun flowers, but people (as if) inside a bowl! Amazing. Thank You for sharing this. Regards. 🙂
