Well done, Ally. Your blanket is a lovely colour.

Thanks Roberta. It’s my fake mink blanket that I have treasured since about 1998. It is a nice colour and very cosy. I will be as warm as toast tonight π

Ah, that sorting out of stuff that marks the changing seasons. Just put our coats away, across the planet. Stay warm.

It doesn’t get too cold here in Brisbane, I never use a heater

Here summer is drawing near. It would be nice to have the possibility to move to the opposite emisphere when winter comes like living 6 months in Europe and 6 in Oceania

Numerous Grey Nomads who travel around Australia with caravans move to north Queensland for the winter and then back to Sydney/Melbourne for the summer. Queensland is the warmest place in Australia, does get cold in the winter but not too bad.

I’d love to be one of those nomads!

I don’t mind the cooler weather, it’s more comfortable than extremely hot weather.π

Here we’re putting away our warm blankets and woolly sweaters. I actually like cooler weather, so thanks for the reminder! (And I have to admit it doesn’t get all that cold here on Vancouver Island, or really hot in summer.)

Queensland doesn’t usually get extremely cold during winter. Recently we had a shocker of a cold snap which was unusual. A friend of mine even needed to buy an electric blanket.

I use my electric blanket in winter to pre-heat the sheets, but turn it off before going to sleep. Just put it away for the summer. Cold snaps can be hard on plants; hope you get a normal winter. (Normal is getting abnormal, these days.)

Ally, this post reminds me it is time to turn the spare room back into a spare bedroom instead of a home for far too many castaways.
