Aussies are everywhere, there is plenty of Australian tourists here. I love the Australian accent

They do have a distinct accent. I am a Kiwi, have been living in Australia for 30 years and haven’t lost of homeland accent.

A friend of mine is 50% Kiwi and 50% Italian. I have relatives both in Australia and New Zealand and my wife’s country is not that far from Northern Australia

I did the Ancestry DNA test
63% England, Wales, Northwestern Europe
35% Ireland and Scotland
2% Sweden
I know about the connections with Ireland and Scotland but as yet not the rest.
