I ruined the original sketch with poppies. I had used watercolour pencils, when I applied a wet brush to it I tried also to add more colour…big mistake. I plan to trim off the poppies and use them on another project.I have completed the Country landscape that I painted during the weekend. I am a novice artist and should not expect perfection. I am happy with my effort. I have forwarded a picture of it to my friend that I am gifting it to. He replied saying “cool I love it thanks “. …that makes me happy.
Look really nice πππ

I’ve been so busy with other things, but looking at your paintings and how well you’re coming along, makes me want to give it a try again.

It is satisfying, makes me feel good. Give it a go, start off with something small and easy π¨πΌπΊπ»

Thanks Anna. I posted it off to a friend today. I also put in a picture I did with oil pastels- sunset at the beach with palm trees. π΄πΊπ»π

Thanks for the compliment. I posted it to an 86 year old who unfortunately is in the early stages of dementia. I also added an oil pastel picture I did of a tropical sunset.
