A beautiful winter’s day here in Brisbane. I am feeling so blessed to enjoy the warmth of the sun while enjoying coffee on my little veranda.
A magnificent tree in the yard where I live. Sorry I can’t tell you the name of it. I am amazed at the size if it, the stunning colours and the blue sky peeping through. I really must find my paint brushes.

Tis indeed a lovely winter’s day here. Your tall old tree could be a jacaranda, I guess only the purple blossom in springtime will tell 🙂

Thank you for your most welcome comments, much appreciated. The land and units are owned by the government, there are several more beautiful trees there as well. I am have been living here since mid May. I am planning to visit the UK in a couple of years. What time of year is considered to be your summer ? Have a great day.

I have been living here eight weeks, when the weather is warmer I do plan to sit outside on the veranda to write and draw/paint
