This is a drawing I have been working on for a dear friend who sadly lost her cat.
I completed the drawing and framed it before I had my first cataract done last week. I am second guessing myself now that I can see more clearly. I don’t want to alter the cat but I am wondering if I should add some more embellishments around the border or leave it as it is. Sometimes less is best. My friend knows I am not a professional artist, she will appreciate the gift.

Hi Caz lovely to read your message. Cataract surgery went well thanks. It’s amazing what they can do, clear vision now in my right eye. I go back for review in 4weeks and then hopefully they will tell me when they can do the left eye.. For the first in 60 years I can see without glasses all the time, just needed for reading. I am feeling blessed. I hope you are well and happy .

That’s such good news, Ally!! Aww, I’m so happy for you, it must be nothing short of a miracle to be able to see clearly in one eye. Hopefully they’ll be able to do the same for the left eye, should you be willing to go ahead with the same procedure again. Fantastic news!! 😊 ♥ xx

You are very perceptive, my artwork definitely brings me peace. Cataract surgery is wonderful, it’s amazing how much better I can see with only the first eye fixed. I am looking forward to getting the other eye fixed. 🌝
